Is there a limit on # of times of opening a file

I get sent a word 2002 doc named vantive ticket.doc 20 times a day and
eventually word refuses to open the file with the msg below:

Cannot Create File: Vantive Ticket.Doc
 
Not that I've heard of. Why are you being sent the same file 20x a day?
