Is there a limit of activation times of MSDNAA Windows XP?

I got a copy of WinXP Pro under MSDNAA License. When I try to registrate it
the following message was shown "the number of times you can active Windows
with this production key has been exceeded". Is there any limit of activation
times for MSDNAA Windows? How can I activate that copy?

lee,

i am not sure what msdnaa means, but i have been through that same situation
using xp pro where, after a reinstallation, i can't activate via the net
because "the number of times you can active windows with this production key
has been exceeded."

when this happens, i just call a toll free number that the activation screen
gives me..and viola! i'm reactivated.

hope this helps.

regards!

Most products acquired through MSDN, including office and operating systems,
will activate ten times in succession without needing to call. This is from
the MSDN Subscription FAQ:

MSDN Subscription product keys can be used to activate up to 10 PCs.

Although you must go through the activation process each time you reinstall
on the same PC, your total number of activations will not be decremented.

For Windows XP, MSDN Subscribers have 60 days before the product needs to be
activated. If you will be reinstalling the software in less than 60 days,
you do not need to activate it. Please note that Windows Update and Windows
Genuine Advantage require that your installation be activated.

For Office 2003, MSDN Subscribers have 50 launches, before the product needs
to be activated.

Software may be reinstalled on the same machine as many times as needed
without reactivating it.

However, if the hard disk is reformatted prior to reinstallation,
reactivation may be required however the total number of activations will
not be decremented.
