Is there a FW equivalent to AllToTray?

Hello

This application http://www.dntsoft.com/alltotray/index.html allows you to
minimise any program to the program tray (system notification area on the
toolbar) and works well under my XP installation. It is free for a fortnight
and does what I want but I would like to know if there's a free equivalent.

I've looked on sourceforge and the List of Lists but haven't found what I am
looking for - possibly because I am using poor search terms. Can anyone
point me in the right direction please?

Cheers

Two free alternatives spring to mind - DM2 and PowerMenu. Both will
minimise anything to the system tray, but also provide a few other
tweaks...

Note that rather than having a tick on the window title bar to set
minimise to tray, you just right click it and minimise directly -
slightly different from AllToTray, but not too inconvenient.

Thanks to Ben/Jura/Elf Wizard - I have tried all the recommendations . They
all worked nicely and I have decided on DM2.

If you don't need DM2's other features, you may find Rbtray of
interest. It's by far the most economical in memory (300k) and
resources of all the tray minimisers I tried.

Thanks Joe - another good program to try. Maybe Vista will include lots of
these functions as native (using XP here) seeing as they must be fairly
simple to implement.

Hi RMC, Thanks for your kind words. :-)

If you downloaded DM2 from its HomePage, check its page at SourceForge:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dm2 . If you have (or you setup) a
(free) account at SourceForge (link at top of page: LogIn-Creat
Account), once you login, you can find at project's page links for its
Public Forums (Help-Support available there), RSS feeds (update
announces and download statistics), and a link to download page. OK, I
know that you downloaded already. :-) But at download page, (
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=134504 )you can
click at envelop icon (at middle of page, under "Notes/Monitor). Now
you are monitoring this package. When an update will be available, you
'll notified be mail. Another option you have is "Feature Request"
(link at top of page). You can ask there from the author to add the
feature you want. If its possible, he put it on his mind for future
versions.
Best Regards!!!
Elf Wizard. :-)
