Is There A Free Driver Extracter Program?

D

Dave

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know of a free program that can extract your drivers and save
them to the hard drive to be stored on a CD etc, I have tried DriverGuide
Toolkit and although there is a code there I can't seem to unlock the
program and after 2 days it won't let me back in.

Any advice is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Dave.

There actually was an earlier version of this program (under a different
title which I forgot ..) that was freeware. If I can dig it out i'll post
the link.

Sorry Dave,
I gave you the WRONG link. I gave the link to what you have already.
I cannot find a vaild link fotr this program (windriversbackup). It
would be a last-freeware-version. I have it installed on the computer.
But the only links I can find are for the shareware version. It's about
a 2.5 Meg file. If no one fins a link let me know.

The easier way - check the Pricelessware site first. ;)

I have the WinDriversBackup program. The textfile with it gives the home
site as http://www.jermar.com
It is the home page of JerMar Software Corp., of Vancouver, Washington WA.
The exe file I have is wdrvbck.exe (no numeral 1). It's probably an earlier
(or later) version. From the textfile <quote> This software is provided free
of charge. This software DOES NOT install spy-ware or ad-ware software. When
you install WinDriversBackup all you get is WinDriversBackup. There are no
strings attached. Please enjoy the software. If you like it share it.
</quote>. The sort of licence I like!!.

It's easy to forget to do that. I'm just going to keep posting little
reminders. . .

The P-prog index page is *the* place to look first for LFW info. A lot
of ACF participants have contributed information - most last freeware
versions are noted there. The program links will take you to the P_prog
web page that has version info and URLs.

Okay Mark - you can come on out now. I promise not to hit you over the
head about this again. . . for a day or two. . . ;)
