I remember that DOS used to have some command that would let you
substitute a different drive name for one of the removable drives. For
example, a very old DOS program is calling for drive b: for its data.
There is no drive b: now. I need a command that would look in drive a:
whenever it asks for drive b:. Can anyone remember how to do this?

I used to be really good with DOS commands but it's been a decade
since I did those things.

Go to run,type:diskmgmt.msc In msc,L.click a drive,action,all,select
change drive letters/paths,configure as you need.
