Looking for a free word program besides open office that is campatible with
Windows 2000 NT.

You're looking in the wrong place. This Microsoft-hosted newsgroup is for the
Microsoft Office database program named Access.

Free word processing software will probably be worth every cent you pay for it
(OpenOffice might be worth a bit more, but you're rejecting that option). Why
don't you spend a few person-years writing and testing a good word processing
program, and give it away? Should make you feel good!

As John said, this is the wrong place to ask, but since you're here,
the best "free" word processor for Win 2000 is Wordpad, which is
included with Win 2000.
