Is the firewall on wireless draytek protecting my pc?

wondered if the firewall built into the draytek wireless router is protecting
me from access attempts? What about an access attempt from anouther computer
in my shared house? (lets pretend i'm living with a hacker!)
I have zonealarm installed but fear its just slowing my computer down.
Do i need both firewalls?

Any advice appreciated.

A FireWall is worthless if you don't secure the wireless networking. Its like locking the
door and the crook is already inside the premise.

Yes the firewall is protecting your PC to an extent. People within your
network have certain permissions to resources on the network. Your computer
is vulnerable because it is one of these resources. Scripts in macros, or
routines could hijack your system resources. It depends upon the level of
access and type of access you allow. Also what kind of information you have
stored in files or programs and where you store this information and data.
Are you the administrator of your home network?
Are all files and resources password protected by groups or individually?
Are you using incription where possible? Firewalls no not prevent hacking
they make it less likely. Keep both unless you store important info and work
