Hi,

why are you asking this question in an embedded NT
newsgroup?

To your question: use Enhanced Write Filter to protect
your storage medium. Then you can turn off your computer
whenever you want. There will be no autochk.

why are you asking this question in an embedded NT
newsgroup?

I have a specific question about WinXP embedded O.S. so the right NG should
be this one (microsoft.public.windowsxp.embedded) is'nt it ?

TIA

Hello,

hope my answer helps you anyhow. As I mentioned, with
usage of enhanced write filter you can switch off your
system at any time (I never had any problems with this)

To the newsgroup: I answered your question in the embedded
NT newsgroup with my Internet Explorer.
I dont know why your question is in both newsgroups.
After refreshing the embedded NT newsgroup, your article
was gone. (But I am sure I was in the right newsgroup, I
wrote an article there). Very strange...

Sorry for my hint about the newsgroup.

...and where did you find information and explanation about 'enhanced write
filter' ?
TIA

Start -> Programs -> Microsoft Windows Embedded Studio ->
Documentation -> Windows XP Embedded Platform.
