Is PC-3200 the same as PC2-3200?

I have one machine with PC-3200 Ram, DDR 400 and want to use it in
another machine, but that 2nd machine requires PC2-3200 with DDR2. Are
they the same?

I have never seen PC2-3200 for sale. Is this a Dell part number?

They're not the same. PC3200 runs at 2.5 or more volts. PC2-3200
runs at 1.8 or more volts. The pin count on the DIMMs is different.
They are not interchangeable.

There is an example of PC2-3200 here. So you can (just barely)
still buy it.

You can always buy faster RAM and run it slower. For example, some
PC2-4200 memory could be plugged into the PC2-3200 machine and it should
work just fine.

Yep...good reply.

Too bad the RAM mfgs made such a muddle of things though!
If DDR were just identified as DDR-1 or DDR-2 and then by frequency...
things would be less confusing I'd think.

Of course maybe there is some reason that I missed for the "cryptic"
convention used
