is Panda good free antivirus scanner

PaNda,... Yes it is,.. good local support... low resources needed,...
good firewall (platinum version),.. not expensive... use it for years

Panda Titanium seems to have an excellent detction rate on WindowsXP
according to this site:

I tried their evaluation version, but its extremely crippled. Only allows
one update and is packed with popup ads which makes it unusable even for
evaluation.

I tried it and it crashed my computer. A new HP running XP. I had to do a
complete restore.

I liked it so much I took out a 6 months sub for £22. I am impressed. I
use the Platinum Internet Security. It has picked up port scans on the
firewall and various virii. It sometimes updates 2-3 times daily so it
seems to keep up OK.
