MS,
There seems to be a setting in the Startup folder of the Run key in the
registry that is causing a program to launch at startup. It could be that
or a Service that is set to start at boot time.
In any case, the starting program or service appears to need a file it
seeks from the \temp folder in the 'Owner' profile folder. In short, you
want to prevent this program or service from starting at all.
To troubleshoot this directly you would want to investigate what is set to
start from either the Run key or the Startup folder. Windows XP has a tool
called MSConfig.exe that make this less difficult.

|
| My computer, every time it reboots or starts, gets at
| least two pop up messages stating that "The application
| or DLL C:\Docum\owner-------\temp\dgaB.tmp (different
| file name every time)is not a valid windows image."
|
| This comes up every time the computer starts. Something
| wrong with my computer or can I do something to stop this
| message from appearing?
|
| Thanks for any help.
