Is my MP3 files 'wierd', or Musicmatch Jukebox is too 'great'

I have this one MP3 files downloaded from the net. When I tried to
play this file using Windows Media Player 9, it seems as it is playing
- the seek bar is moving - but there is no sound at all up until the
end. I thought that this MP3 file has corrupted somewhat so I would
like to download it again. But before that, just to make sure, I
played this file using the old Windows Media Player 6...no sound...and
tried open this file using both Cool Edit Pro and Sound Forge. It can
be opened, but it has only long, one-line, flat wave lines..so there
is no sound contained in this file..BUT, astonishingly, on my last
attempt to play it using Musicmatch Jukebox, the song CAN be heard!! I
can really hear the music coming out...it's really wierd...then I've
tested on other MP3-capable players like Winamp, Zoom, PowerDVD, even
Picaview (ACD), there's no sound on these players...except Musicmatch
Jukebox..Wierd, huh? to make it even more 'wierder', I tried to
convert this MP3 file to any other format like WMA and OGG (and it can
be converted successfully)...and now, Musicmatch can't play these file
(I mean, it can play but without any sound)..so only the original MP3
files can be played only by Musicmatch...I really don't believe if
this files can only be played by Musicmatch because if it has been
ripped by the player's CD ripper; It should be playable to other
players as well (I've tested, and I know you already know this..)..any
ideas?

If the waveform is indeed flat, then it should be silence, or at least an
extremely low level. It's best to avoid Musicmatch.

no..you probably don't understand...what i said was, that MP3 can be
played PERFECTLY under Musicmatch Jukebox...i can really hear the
music....but not from OTHER player (WMP,etc...)...no sound at
all...opening with Cooledit Pro or Sound Forge will view a flat
waveform...that makes it very weird...
