Is Ms Office 98 an acceptable pre-requisite for Power Point 2003?

I have just purchased MS Power Point 2003, but can not get it installed
because I haved only MS Office 95 instead of the required 97. When I tried
to buy MS97 I was informed they only had MS 98 will that be accepted in
plaxce of the 97?

I haven't gone that far back in quite some time, but I believe that Office
98 is for MACs, not PCs.

Office 98 is not for PC's. You want Office 97, 2000, or 2002. However, there
are multiple versions of each. Be sure that the one you purchase includes
PowerPoint. Otherwise it'll be a wasted investment.
