Will Mac monitor (Apple Multiple Scan 20) work with PC computers?
What is the difference between Mac and PC monitors?

Cheers!

Back in the Multiple Scan days, Apple's monitors were generally much
higher quality than their PC counterparts (more reliable, better
picture quality, more stable image, faster refresh rates, higher/more
resolutions supported). That's my experience, anyway, working
concurrently for a PC shop and an Apple upgrade & repair specialty shop
('00-'02, three years).
I understand the gummy-tooth looking Apple monitors had serious
problems with their power supplies, so I hope that isn't what you have.
The Apple SVGA connector and the PC SVGA connector are both 15-pin,
but Apple's were arranged into two rows and PC's are arranged into
three rows. Apple-to-PC and PC-to-Apple adapters were at one time both
very common. If memory serves, the Multiple Scan 20 has both
Apple-standard and PC-standard input connectors (or a PC-standard input
and a Mac-to-PC cable, which could be exchanged for a PC-PC video
cable? I forget.). If you need an Apple-monitor -> PC video output
adapter, try a rummage-sale, swap meet, or check garage-sales.
