Hi all.

I dont know if someone is using Excel Mac 2011 or not. I have huge problem with someone who has Mac.

I made spreadsheat in Excel 2010 on Pc. Sent to client who has Excel Mac 2011. He gets all formula values to 0 (showing as errors)... When he clicks to see error he gets Formula Refers to Empty Cells.

As you can see on this sheet
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/57916703/help.xlsx

Formulas are working. I know they are really really really big lol. But they works. So formulas are on "Transcript Business Dashboard" sheet and they are working for "Transcript Business" sheet. Second sheet isnt important here as it is empty so far.

Anyway problem on mac looks like this

What seems to be problem here? I spent alot of hours to make formulas for this sheet and I am really confused now that they arent working. Even it works great on my pc

Thanks

it does not working for me too.
I changed the formulas in D1 and D2 and now it is working for me. Please
have a test on Mac.
Have a look:

to make it work in all language settings I changed the formulas. But
only for the first 3 columns. Change the rest similar.

I just love to make complicated formulas when there is so much better lol.

Anyway. Thanks for this.

I asked him to save it on his side yesterday. And send to me. I opened it and I saw all 0 there. But when I clicked enabled editing, everything worked again.

I will let you know when I test it with him.

Thanks. You are great help

I had results when I opend the workbook. As soon as I changed B2 I get
only zeros. Your formula in D1 with the dates in quotes makes the dates
to text so they will not match the dates in the other sheet.

=IF(B2="January","1/1/2014", IF(....
It will work if you change it to:
=IF(B2="January",Date(2014,1,1), IF(....

D2 you can change to EOMonth(D1,0)
And row 5 and below you don't have to check for the month because D1 and
D2 change with the month.

So that what was causing a problem. I didnt noticed actually that. It was working alright so I didnt looked at that problem at all.

Thanks. I am waiting for reply from that guy with Mac. I totally got confused yesterday when he showed me 0 values. And on my side everything worked.

I hope now with your formula everything will work on Mac. It supposed to be alright all now...

Truly I must say, not because of this, because of all before that I dont like Mac lol.

I had problems before from pc to Mac. Even excel files should be "same" they arent.

Anyway, thanks for this, I will let you know about Mac as soon as he answer.

Also one more question. Can B2 data validation list be for 2015 too.

For example January, February,..., December, January 2015, February 2015...

Just wondering

in sheet("Help") you have to write always the first of month and then
format custom MMMM YYYY.
You can also look again in OneDrive. I improved the file.
