is it safe to delete the temp files's?

is it safe to delete these file folder C:\Documents and
Settings\Aaron\Local Settings\Temp theres a lot of
folders there including some items that I have
uninstalled, is it safe to delete this folder? this folder
was a hinden folder, which mean I guess would not be
touched I think but theres some kazza files there which I
don't because kazza is full of spyware.

Yes, you can delete the contents of the Temp folder. If any of those files
happen to be in use, you will get a message that the file cannot be deleted.

Yes it is safe to delete the contents of Temp folders, not the folder.
Reboot first to be sure none of the data is in use.

I've always considered it safe, but your comment prompts the question:
Why would they be in use if they are not needed?

Temp files are created by some applications to be used then
immediately discarded after use.
Sometimes application fail to discard the tem data usually because of
unrelated issues such as lock-ups etc.
So there may be old temp data inadvertently left as well as data
currently in use by a running application.
Reboot to stop whatever may be using the data.
The application recreates the temp files it needs at next use.

ok thankyou to just be safe I will delete the stuff in the
folder, but I belive the folder comes back after a restart
