Can anyone setup his system for a multiboot
with this 3 OS-- winME, WiXP and Linux without using any
bootmanager like bootmagic or partition magic,**but using
only fdisk**??? If yes, please suggest the procedure in
details..
specs:- 2 HDD; 1FDD; 2CDD; intel810 chipset motherboard
with award bios..
Presently I'm running dual boot with winME & winXP..

Hi,

Fdisk only works for FAT/FAT32 partitions, great for WinME, not great for
everything else. WinXP will run on that, but needs NTFS for full security
features. Linux uses ext partitions, something no Win OS can handle. To go
without a third party boot manager, you would have to use a Linux one, GRUB
or LILO, as they can load a Win OS, but no Win OS can load a linux
partition.
