Is it possible to turn underlining on and off inside a text box?

I have created a text box that has some preset data with other information
brought in from a database. I did it this way to keep the data flow smooth
and eliminate a lot of blank space. I would like to underline the text that
is brought in from the database when I print the form but I cannot find a way
to turn underlining on and off inside a text box. I can find it for a
balloon but not for a text box. Any suggestions?

For Access 2003 and older: Use an (ActiveX Control) Rich Text Box. There is
one that comes with some packages of the Access runtime, ones you can
license from third-parties, and one that is free from MVP Stephen Lebans,
http://www.lebans.com.

For Access 2007: This capability is now available in the standard Access
Text Box.

Thanks! You sure respond quickly!
I guess I wasn't specific enough. I need to do this in a report and not a
form. After the user has filled in the information in text boxes I need to
print it in a readable paragraph with the answers disbursed throughout the
paragraph and underlined. I can't underline only the information coming in
from the text boxes in the paraagraph in the report that prints.

so you can do this in a report also?

can you PREVENT this also?
sure it may seem like a no-brainer; but I'd like to be able to turn
that off also... i'm tired of new features that make my life harder..
like name autocorrect and the subdatasheetview; etc

Formatting for Access' built-in Text Boxes (whether used in Forms or
Reports), through Access 2003, applies to all the Text in the Text Box --
even if you had an "underline font" matching your regular font, you couldn't
use it in the same Text Box. It's been a thorn in Access users' sides since
V. 1.0, and it has been changed in Access 2007.

Until you do your Report in Access 2007, the Rich Text Box is the only
answer to interspersing underlining. I've never used one in a Report, but
understand that some of them do work in Reports.

One alternative would be to use COM Automation to control Microsoft Word
from Access, to produce the document. It's not for "novices," but it's not
exactly "rocket science," either, to use COM Automation -- you just have to
learn both COM Automation and the Word object model.

we're doing crazy complex SQL Reporting Services right now and
exporting it to Word using Office Writer.

I wish that SSRS had the same functionality

I've never touched word automation in my life; but it was sure easy to
dive in and check it out
