Is it possible to start a slide transition using a trigger?

I am trying to create a more interactive presentation. I would like to
trigger a slide transition using a trigger on a different slide. Example:
Slide 1 would offer a choice to click a trigger, which would take me to slide
2, 3, or 4, depending upon which trigger was clicked.

Slide show > action butto (probably choose a blank one) drag a shape onto
your slide. In the box that pops up choose hyperlink, the default will be
"next slide" change it to "slide" and then choose the slide you want.

If you're using buttons it may be a good idea to unclick transition on click
(which will take you to the next slide)
