Is it possible to include the word count in the paper?

I was wondering if there was any way to include the Word Count in my paper so
I can print it off.

You could do a screen shot and paste it into the document.

Insert a NUMWORDS field:

Insert > Fields...

Or...

Do CTRL-F9,
This will insert a pair of curly braces that are field delimiters (These
braces cannot be typed directly, you must use CTRL-F9),
Between the {}, type NUMWORDS,
You should now have :
{NUMWORDS}
Select the field and do F9 to update it and toggle it back to its value.
