I want to display a data grid on microsoft access form and want to edit some
columns only. Is it possible? If yes then what type of data grid can be used

I'm not certain just what you mean by a "data grid" - but a continuous
Form can easily be set up which has the visual appearance of a grid;
and you can make the textboxes (or other controls) on this grid
editable or not as you wish, since each control has a Locked property
(True - it's locked from editing; False - it's editable).

You as a general rule can make a "grid" with a continuous form.
