Is it possible to get online a quicker way than this?

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to set Windows Vista or Internet explorer to connect to
the internet in one easy click?

I have a new Notebook with Vista installed, & I have Speedtouch 330 modem,
but in order to get online, I have to click "Internet explorer", & then click
a "Connect" button, or a "Connect Automatically" tick box, which resets when
I try & connect next time?

I do have a shortcut on my desktop that says "Connect to my ISP", but when I
double click this, another little box appears with a "Dial" button allowing
me to connect, but then I have to open Internet Explorer seperately?

There must be a setting that I am missing somewhere, because there is an
option on one of these little boxes that I can tick to allow "All Users" with
a Microsoft icon next to it, but I tick this & the next time I try & connect
it has reset itself to only allowing me only, & the "All Users" box is
un-ticked again?

If anyone has any advice on how to resolve this, then I would be very
grateful! I am sure there is an admin user setting that needs changing
somewhere.

Many thanks.

In Internet Explorer, pick Tools, then Internet Options. Make sure your ISP
dial-up entry is in the list there, then click the radio button next to
"Always dial my default connection". That should dial your ISP any time a
program needs Internet access.
