Is it possible to format a page to show 6 slides per page?

I am trying to do layout for a book in powerpoint. Is it possible to have
text boxes in certain places on a page as well as 6 slides shown? Do I
export the presentation into word?

If I'm allowed only one suggestion, it'd have to be: Don't.

Sure you can drive nails with a pair of vise grips, but a hammer's ever so much
more efficient and easier on the hands.

Seriously, PPT's not the right tool for the job.
