is it possible to eliminate vertical scroll bar?

a little experimenting going on here....

I want to create a page with 3 distict sections to it,(maybe more) but
instead of having the person scroll down to the section 2, etc... I
want to display the upper portion, and have a link within it to to go
to a bookmarked location further down the page, and a link from there
to the next.....

just wanting to try something a little different that's all.. so IS
there a way of disabling the vertical scroll bar, and oh.. vertical
only - there will be a horizontal! ha` yes I know there frowned on -
but for an image gallery ~ it might just look ok :) maybe .. I'll see
when it gets done.
but the effect of going from one gallery to another would maybe appear
better to link down rather than scroll ( and rather that then open up
another browser window)

Yes, it's possible. But please don't do it. If your method were to not
work (for whatever reason) then the visitor would not be able to access the
rest of your page at all.

For 3 galleries - I would much rather see 3 pages with one gallery on
each. This makes for a faster download, especially on dialup.

If any of the sections contains blocks of text, then the vertical
scrollbar is essential. Those with defective vision will use large
fonts, or increase the font size in the browser, which will increase the
height of each section, perhaps requiring a scroll bar in each section.
