Can you use a regular front end mdb for your database and somehow link sink
some of the forms to a mde auxillary front end ?

Trying to figure out a way to protect my db without creating a mde.

I need to be able to make changes to it, the front end anyway.
Suggestions ? Have db ready for market !
Trying to get protection, install, etc...

Dave,

You mean the end user of your application will be making design changes?

So why does that stop you
from distributing an MDE?

What Doug didn't say is that you keep your development copy as an MDB, then
generate an MDE to re-test and then distribute. ( Do NOT skip the re-test
step. )
