Is It possible to check history of computer use on a certain date/

I need to find out if somebody was using my computer on 12/16/2005.. If I can
then, I will be able to determine if a friend was linked to my house that was
robbed on 12/16/2005

You could try looking in event viewer
Control panel - Administrative Tools - Event Viewer - System
Look at the date & times

You can determine if the computer was booted. Look in System Event Log for a event about the event log starting. This is logged on every boot.

If you setup logon auditing it would be in the security log. But I doubt you did that.
