Is it possible for a Embedded NT OS device to get a virus or worm

I have been working on a embedded NT Device , the question
I have is it possible for Embedded NT to get infected by a
virus/worm and is their a fix

XPe can be infected as any other OS. Embedded NT probably have same
problems.

There is no universal fix, but having installed current QFE's, and keeping
it away from network should minimize virus threat.
