Is it easy to upgrade to Outlook 2007 from Outlook 2000?

I've got Windows XP Home, version 5.1, circa 2006 with Serevice Pack 3.
Recently renewed my Kaspersky internet virus subscription and it froze out my
OUtlook. Turns out 2010 Kaspersky will not support 2000 Outlook. So I am
willing to buy and upgrade my Outlook to the current version, but don't want
to deal with a lot of what would be considered to be problems for casual
computer users such as myself.

To add to Brian's comments, I would not upgrade just outlook (unless i only
had outlook). If you have office now, buy the office suite if you decide to
upgrade. Office 2010 is due out in about 6 months - I'd wait for it. At
least wait for the technology guarantee before buying and you'll be a free
(possibly a shipping/handling fee) copy of office 2010.
