Is it a MSN messange or it is it a destroyer POPUP

I AM RECIVING A POP-UP SUPPOSEDLY FROM "MICROSOFT NETWORKS
to WINDOWS USER", IT SAYS: "Microsoft Security Bulletin
MS03-043" "Buffer Overrun in Messenger Service Allow Code
Execution (828035)" Affected Software <NT Workstation,
Window 2000 ." "non affected software Microsoft Windows
ME"; THEN SAYS "THE SYSTEM IS AFFECTED, IT NEED TO
DOWNLOAD A PATCH"; THE ADDRESS PROVIDED FOR DOWNLOAD A
PATCH IS: www.windowspatch.info.

I WAS SEARCHING INTO MSN SITE, AND I DID NOT FIND ANY
THING ABOUT THIS.

QUESTION: IS THIS MESSAGE COMING FROM MSN AND IT WILL BE
SAFETY TO GO IN AND DOWNLOAD A PATCH, OR IS IT ONE MORE
DANGER DESTROYER-POP-UP?

I'm getting the same pop-up about once a day. It's pretty annoying. Clicking on the download button brings you to a screen asking for money to download the patch. Something that Microsoft no-doubt provides for free. I just wish I could get the popup to quit.

MS is not going to proactively scan you computer and notify you of any
required patch. I do not suggest applying any security patches from anysite
that you get a popup from.
