Hello,

while looking for local data recovery services, I have found this web page:
http://www.mbm.com.pl/ ,
which apparently belongs to Ontrack. I know, that opening a HDD requires a
special clean room. Does it really look like in this gallery:
http://www.mbm.com.pl/index.php?dir=onas&file=galeria
showing opened drives?

Hmmm .... look at pic 9 ... ,well the guys that seem to be really working
with opened up drives seem to be in a clean environment, the, how you call
that, the 'thing' they're under may be some 'air sucking device' sucking up
dust particles. That's why they all have short hair, to many accidents as a
result of hair getting stuck in the 'air sucking machine' above their heads.

The guy with the beard, that's a 'show picture' I guess, it's probably just
a 'show HDD', he ain't clean I think he smoked illegal substances. I have
them here and it ain't clean here either (well not that dirty ... but at
least not clean enough to open a drive).

The girl looks 'clean', she doesn't seem to be on dope or anything ... she's
quite nice, what's her name?

There's also pictures where they work on disks that aren't opened ...

On pick 11, five seconds after it was taken the guy in the left fell from
his chair .... guess he wasn't clean, some sort of tranquilizer I guess ....

Some of them have absolutley nothing to do with data recovery .... "okay, I
hold them like this .... so you see my reflection in the platters okay?"

The guy in pics 16+17, isn't he cool looking? Wow ... still I prefer pic 9

Many of their PCs seem to be missing parts ....

Hmm ... they have removed pic 18, the one with the guy with that
sledge-hammer on it ...

No. Too many dirty people in dirty clothes, and the ventilation doesn't
look like it provides the necessary top-to-bottom laminar flow. I
suspect that those were posed photos and that if they do have a real
clean room they wouldn't let the photographers in.

Although it is not necessary to have a full room--a glove box works
fine.

Sucking _up_ is bad news--pulls all the dust off the floor.
Should be blowing down.

They shouldn't have any hair at all exposed.
