Yes I did install that and I indeed found the files:
\Repositories\{82F504C8-6B7B-4AC3-A3B7-9D3674C28AF5}\ie7_admparse.dll
but when i tried to find a component called using a filter on the file
name "ie7_admparse.dll"
i did not find an ie7 component. am i missing something or failed to
install something
correctly?

This is one of those files that get renamed during the build process so you
cannot find it directly.. In this case, it gets renames to admparse.dll, and
can be found in several components - Internet Explorer Group Policy Support
is one component.
