I was introduced to this small freeware program
"Everything", a few weeks ago and it is just brillliant!
It's about 290 KB and sits in your Notification area.
Double-click on it and start typing your missing
file/folder/photo number etc. and results appear
instantly. It only works on NTSF drives, but
once you've tried it you'll never use Search again.
I found it at http://www.voidtools.com/ . I am,
of course, in no way involved with this software,
Just a very happy user,

Jim.

When I saw that post yesterday, I checked the other posts from that
person, and the one you call "spam" is the ONLY such one he's made -
and he's made many to a bunch of newsgroups.

Looks like it was a completely honest post.

Next time, check before you make a fool of yourself.

OOPS... that shoulda been "make a fool of yourself yet another time."

It is still SPAM . No matter who the person is or what you say he is. Spam means
advertising a product directly in any post which the OP did.

Good call Leonard

Thank God Leonard is here to tell us it's spam. What would we do without
him.

What about all those times people here post along the lines of, "What you
need to help with your problem is Spybot / Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware /
Acronis True Image / Avast! / CCleaner" etc etc? I think your definition of
spam needs adjusting.

Regardless of the intention of the OP, any post that basically advertises a
product or service and does nothing else is considered to be 'Spam' and is
considered unacceptable.

All fair enough. Peter's definition said nothing about "...and does nothing
else", though.
