"@" is auto changed to "at" in email addresses. How do I stop?

I am entering email addresses into a column as part of an address and contact
list. When I enter the address the "@" is autochanged to text "at". How can I
stop this so I don't have to back up and edit this every time I enter an
email address?

In the properties of that control, turn off Allow Autocorrect.
