Is anyone else having this problem with attachment names?

All of the attachments I have been receiving lately have no spaces in the
attachment name. They had spaces when they were sent but the spaces where
gone once the file reached my inbox.
I used webmail to look at the files before they got to my inbox and the
attachment names had spaces.

Have I accidently set some option in outlook that removes spaces, has
something changed in outlook, or have I picked up some weird virus?

I received a reply to an earlier post by someone that is having the same
problem but no one has suggested a cause or solution.
Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have a solution? Does anyone
know where else to go to get this type of question answered?

it's most likely an AV scanner doing it.

If you have LiveUpdate enabled, though, Symantec might have made changes
to the AV engine without your knowledge and the new engine could be causing
this phenomenon.

It was my ZoneAlarm firewall (with "Mailsafe" turned on).

Turn off MailSafe. If you have an anti-virus scaner, you don't need it
anyway.
