IRQL Stop errors

Just purchased a new laptop. Constant issues with
Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL stop errors, mostly when on
Internet (through 2 providers), and occasionally when
restarting computer from sleep mode. Some of the stop
errors refer to tcpip.sys addresses, others to ndis.sys
addresses, and still others to portcls.sys addresses. Have
reinstalled drivers, searched for incompatibilities, and
reinstalled parts of XP OS. Am getting extremely
frustrated with manufacturer support through warranty,
because they have not been able to pinpoint cause. Any
suggestions?

Thanks Bill, but haven't found the right help. Still
frustrated. Multiple stop errors, 0x00000001, or
0x0000000A, or 0x000000D1 are the most common
