IRPStackSize

Today I tried to connect to a network drive and got the following msg:
------------
An error occurred while reconnecting X: to \\Dell1\X4

Microsoft Windows Network: Not enough server storage is available to
process this command.

The connection has not been restored.

I did a search on the Microsoft site using this: "Not enough server
storage is available to process this command." I was taken to an
article that says the IRPStackSize is too small, but this is supposed
to apply to NT4 and Win2000. There was a reference to a Symantec site
on how to adjust the IPRStackSize, but that site says this is adjusted
dynamically with XP. I'm running XP Pro with SP2 and all updates.

The article stated that some bad mannered programs would set the
IRPStackSize and in XP the value should be deleted. I used regedit to
scan for an IRPStackSize entry and did not find one.

As far as I know, there were no recent changes before this error
appeared.

Any suggestions appreciated.

BTW, this is a new installation, less than two weeks old, and it
worked fine until today.
