IRM and Hotmail

Some of the people I work with use web based email, mostly hotmail. When I
send an email using IRM, the email is received by hotmail as an attachment
called "message.rpmsg". I've asked then to install the rights management
client software and even after doing this, they cant open the message. I
tried to solve this by using IRM on the attachments I send instead of the
email itself however, hotmail views attachments with IRM as having a virus,
propably because of its macro nature.

What if anything can be done about this?
