Irfanview Thumbnails--can it be opened in maximized view?

Hi Everyone,

I loaded Irfanview and put a "panda" icon on my Desktop entitled
"Irfanview Thumbnails"

Okay, I know that this is really picky...but...

I would like to open Irfanview's Thumbnails in a maximized window.
Right now it opens only in a normal window, even though I've set the
shortcut's properties to run in maximized.

I've even maximized the Thumbnails window and then closed it, hoping to
"reset" the "normal" dimensions. Didn't work.

Has anyone found out how to do this?

Thanks!

Don't maximize it, drag the edges to fit to your screen, prees the
Control-key when you click the upper-right-hand-corner-x to close it,
that keeps the settings. Works on (almost?) any window.
