IR17;m

When I send a message in outlook using Word as my editor I
always get the word "I'm" changed to "IR17;m" once it hits
the end user. Does anyone know why and if so how to fix
that.

Change your default encoding for new messages.

Tools->Options->Mail Format->International Options.
