Software : Windows XP sp2 with all updates
Firewall: Zonealarm (don't know if this has relevance)

I keep on seeing the following message in the event viewer, please could
anybody tell me what to do about it if anything?, I tried looking at the
microsoft link but as usual it6 was worse than useless!. I have added the
ipsec monitorto mmc, but haven't a clue what to do with it!

This has been comming up in the logs for a while, but has been ignored so I
am not sure if it is just to do with a software that has been installed

any help would be much appreciated

Event Type: Failure Audit
Event Source: Security
Event Category: Policy Change
Event ID: 615
Date: 11/08/2005
Time: 08:57:25
User: NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE
Computer: JNC-01
Description:
IPSec Services: IPSec Services failed to get the complete list of network
interfaces on the machine. This can be a potential security hazard to the
machine since some of the network interfaces may not get the protection as
desired by the applied IPSec filters. Please run IPSec monitor snap-in to
further diagnose the problem.

Boot up in Safe Mode (F8) and choose safe mede with networking. This disables
all of your "anti" software and go from there.

go from there???
do you know how to use ipsec mon to diagnose? I haven't a clue how to work
out what is causing it and even if I find out by elimination which program
seems to do it I don't have any programs that are unecessary in my startup so
I can't just leave them out!
