I have installed my iPod with my CD twice now, and everytime after I put in
my iPod connection, it says "Your program in installed incorrectly, please
re-install it" or something like that, and I think that is why I can't get
music on my iPod.
-If you can help me out with a step-by-step help or something on the
installation stuff, and then how to get the music from iTunes onto my iPod
that would be greatly appreiciated-
(Oh, and the guides haven't seemed to work).

Not really an XP issue..

So you downloaded and installed the latest iTunes?

And gone through these troubleshooting tips?

Why not download it from Apples web site. I did that and had no problems.
