If anyone has any idea as to why you would loose access
to a DHCP server once you have installing a Linksys
LNE100TX version 5 PCI LAN card and driver on Windows
2000 and XP I sure would like to know. We have tried
uninstalling the card and the driver and tried several
other cards. The cards all now seem to work well under
other protocols (IPX/SPX and NetBios) but now IP. We can
force an IP address and ping within the local LAN but not
access out the DHCP router. Is there a setting to disable
DHCP in the registry or some possible cruel method of the
like? Suggestions welcome.
