what can I do to protect my computer about it.Any help will be really
helpfull.Thank you.

Install, and use, a good firewall device.

Grin. Dont worry about it. Just let your firewall do it's job.

When I've been in process of purchasing a few
software products, their vendors' order entry
forms state that they're collecting my unique
IP address in the event of fraud--that they're
protecting me.

Haven't seen such messages since I installed
Symantec Internet Security 2005. Could be
that I just haven't visited those vendors again.

You may also install any thirdparty quality firewall to protect your PC.

Generally your IP address is determined by the router/modem and that's
determined by your ISP. If your IP is static, you'll have to contact
your ISP, if its dynamic, as most are, then sometimes turning your
router/modem (whatever) off and waiting a while and then turning it back
on will reassign a new IP. Sometimes. And the time you have to turn
it off is dependent on the lease expiration time. (long story).

I would contact funfile.org maybe. Might be simpler.
