ip addresses

I have 3 computers in mky network set up to automatically gewt an ip address
2 work okay the address they get are the same except for the last number
69.xx.xxx.xx the 3rd always gets this number 169.xx.xxx.xx that is the one
that is always acting up and cannot connect to the internet???? any ideas?

The "169.254.x.x" value is an APIPA address.

Your third computer is not getting an acceptable address because either it is
not connecting to the DHCP server, or the server is not configured to service a
request from that computer.

Maybe some more details about your LAN would be helpful. Make and model of the
router, make and model of the NIC on computer 3, other detail about Computer 3.
