IP Address Inventory List?

We use DHCP but we also have printers, routers, switches, UNIX
machines, etc that don't use DHCP. Is there an easy way to find all
the IPs being used on our LAN? That way we can create a dynamic list
of all our IPs so that we don't accidentally create an IP address
conflict.

I've just decided to use DNS as our IP Inventory List. Does anyone see
potential problems with that?

I've manually entered those devices into DNS. For the future, those
type of devices will also have to be manually entered. Any other
issues?
