iomdisk.sys error

I am using the windows XP and yesterday I tried to run my
computer but i couldn't do that. I tried to run the
computer in the save mode but the same problem the
computer will stop at line :
........ drivers\iomdisk.sys
and restart again.
I think the problem from hard drive Iomega which I linked
it to computer from one month ago.

any help please.

I've been doing a bunch of hunting on this subject because of a problem I'm having too. Unfortunately there is no fix except to re-install, according to what I've found. Microsoft was no help. Iomega was no help either.

In my case I can't do a "last known good...", "safe-mode", or "safe-mode with command prompt" to fix the errant file.

The moral of the story is don't install Iomega's IomegaWare.
