Invitations being received in an email format

I use Outlook 2007 to invite clients to training sessions. When I send out a
training invitation, it is often received as an email not as an invitation.
In addition, when I send an update to the time or date, it is also received
as an email instead of an update.

Also, sometimes my invitations are received all garbled.

Is this a bug? Can someone help me understand why this happens?

What are your recipients running? Have you tried forcing RTF on the invites?

Hi Milly. My recipients run various versions of Outlook so I cannot be very
specific. I do know that my VP runs 2002 and he often receives the
invitations in the form of an email.

Sorry but I don't understand what you mean by "Have you tried forcing RTF on
the invites?" Can you clarify?

Thanks so much.

Force RTF = Double click the email addresses and select the option to have Outlook always send RTF formatted messages.
