Menus do not show unless I hover over each line to locate directive. This is
for all programs. I was using a Incredimail program, but uninstalled it. Ran
Spybot S&D, Adaware, no change. I have a windows registry repair pro. should
I install and run.
I am desperate. Also, task manager does not respond at first, then it fills
tray with green squares 30-50 @a time, it lacks any menu bars that it had
once. Tell me there is hope for me.

It sounds like you have the menu color and the menu text color set to the
same color value.

Open Control Panel/Display/Appeaqrance Tab/Advanced Button. Under Item,
click the Menu item and set the menu font to a contrasting color for the
menu color.

For the task Manager lacking any menu bar, simply move the cursor to any
edge of the task manager dialog box and double click.

Can you give more details about the "green squares? Also, have you run a
full system scan with an up to date anti virus program?

followed your instructions. the contrast on display desktop menu was black
font with white background. The menu I am speaking of is the dropdown on all
programs as well as pop ups from task tray icons. All are still invisible
until I hover over the imagined space per line. I also ran my CA EZ Armor
virus. took 23 mins. to complete 73589 files...104 could not scan, result -0-
virus found. Curious statement is as follows: C:\Master Boot record is
unknown But seems ok.
:C:\Partition Boot Record is ok: Standard Win2000(2)
My Q= is this a normal thing? Why would a master boot be unknown?
The green boxes[icons] in the tray[hidden section] with normal program bar
in the tray giving # of programs it has running. ie 34 task mgrs. @ once. I
know I am not trying to execute 34-50 times. So any suggestions. Did you
feel it beneficial to run the windows registry repair pro or do you know of
any better. Thanks again.
Also...I run Webshots.com for wallpaperand [revolving screensaver] I never
touched any settings prior to the menu problem being invisible. ergo the
uninstall of the Incredimail.
