Invisible Defined Names

How can I delete names in my workbook that behave like ghosts? When I open
name manager, there are no defined names. But when I copy a sheet, the
message, "A formula or sheet you want to copy contains the name 'fxb' (or
other) which already exists on the destination worksheet..." appears.

I am using Office 2007 with Excel.

Is there anyway to clean up these invisible names without resorting to
loading macros?

I don't think so.

The only way I know to make a name visible is by using code--either a macro that
I load (like NameManager) or code that I write.

(I'm not sure how xl2007 works, though. Maybe there's something on the user
interface for this--but that would kind of defeat the purpose of allowing the
developer to hide names.)
