Inventory control

I want to add or subtract quantities to a record to control my inventory. As
it is written now, I have to mentally add the figure to the last "add" field
or subtract from the last "decrease" field. I would like to enter a figure
in either and have it calculate to the "total on hand" field without having
to calcualte it myself. Can this be done.
